Pot sticker Dipping Sauce

This is a basic dipping sauce for Asian pot stickers. You can also use it for cooked shrimp, or sautéed scallops. Or pour it over warm Asian noodles, garnished with cilantro. Or even poured over grilled eggplant! Now THAT sounds very good!

To make the sauce, you will need:

1/3 cup soy sauce
3 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp minced fresh ginger

Stir well until combined and use as desired. You can add hot red pepper flakes for a spicier dip.
